THE GO-GO POSTER AT THE COLONEL
The Go-Go Mural at the Colonel celebrates the cultural history of the District of Columbia. The mural is a nod both to the deep history of go-go music and culture as well as the importance of printing and posters within that scene. Centrally featured in the courtyard of the building and visible from the street, the mural aims to integrate history and traditional culture to new construction by including key figures and themes that are part of go-go culture.
